Fondy Farmers Market

The Fondy Farmers Market kicks off the start of the market season on Saturday, June 26th.  Our Opening Day Festival means farmers have returned to the market with long-awaited springtime favorites like strawberries and spinach. Singers, dancers and performers will entertain market guests throughout the day, and kids will have loads of fun participating in all of the activities and contests designed just for them. Come hungry as our fresh food vendors will tempt you with home-cooked meals from around the world.

Fondy’s Opening  Day also means  BBQ.  This is the 3rd year we’re inviting all pit masters to “bring it” and compete for $800 in prize money in the BBQ Ribs and Chicken Cook-off.  Judging is at 11:00 am and 12:00 noon.  Are you more talented at eating BBQ than cooking it?  Come early for a chance to be a People’s Choice BBQ Judge.
